Pogosova Nana (Goar) Vachikovna, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, cardiologist, defended the candidate’s dissertation on the psychosomatic interrelation in arterial hypertension of different origin in 1992 and doctoral dissertation on the rehabilitation of CHD patients after coronary artery bypass graft surgery in 1998.

Pogosova N.V. has been working in National Research Centre for Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation since 2000: initially as a leading research scientist, then as the chief of psychosomatic research group in 2004, afterwards the head of the department of the chronic internal diseases prevention in 2006, and the principal of the Federal Health Centre and the Department of the secondary prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases in 2011.

Pogosova N.V. was a member of the cardiac rehabilitation section at the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation from 2006 till 2012. Pogosova N.V. became the chief specialist in preventive medicine of the Ministry of Healthcare of Moscow City in 2012.

She holds duties of Russian national coordinator in large-scale international investigations. On several occasions she has presented the results of Russian investigations at international conferences including congresses held by the European Society of Cardiology and World Congress of Cardiology.
Pogosova N.V. sits on editorial boards for the journals “Cardiology” (since 2007) and “Preventive Medicine”. She is the reviewer in the latter journal established by the European Society of Cardiology.

She is the author of more than 160 scientific works, most of which are published in leading Russian and foreign journals.

Pozdnyakov Yuri Mikhailovich (born in 1941) graduated from Ryazan Medical Institute in 1965.
He has been working as the principal of Moscow regional cardiological centre since 1986.

Pozdnyakov Y.M. was the vice-president of the Society of Cardiology of the Russian Federation from 1995 until 2011. Currently he is the Russian Cardiological Society Board member.

Pozdnyakov Y.M. was awarded with the academic degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in 1997 and with the academic title of professor in 1999.
He has been working as the chief cardiologist of the Central Federal district and Moscow region of the Russian Federation since 2002.
Pozdnyakov Y.M. conducts annual research and practice conferences in the Central Federal district and Moscow region of the Russian Federation.
Pozdnyakov Y.M. became the member of the Cardiology Coordination Council of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation in 2005.

Pozdnyakov Y.M. was honored with the Russian Federation national awards such as Order of Peoples" Friendship and golden medal of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre laureate “For the contribution to the prevention of arterial hypertension”. Pozdnyakov Y.M. was presented with the Order of Honour, the prestigious national award, in 2012 by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev.

Pozdnyakov Y.M. is the author of 190 published works among which there are 15 monographs and 10 methodological textbooks.

Boytsov Sergey Anatolyevich is the famous Russian general practitioner and cardiologist, presented with the Badge of Honor Order and several professional awards.

He became the head of Federal State Institution National Research Centre for Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation in 2011 and the chief specialist in the preventive medicine at the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation. At the same time he was elected as the vice-president of the Russian Cardiological Society (2011).

Professor Boytsov S.А. is the author of more than 230 scientific works and articles on cardiology, general and preventive medicine, chronic non-communicable diseases. He was the scientific advisor of more than 20 postgraduate students defending candidate’s and doctoral dissertations on medicine.

Professor Boytsov S.А. is the chief editor of “Preventive medicine” journal and member of editorial board in several reputable Russian medical journals.

Vasyuk Y.A. (date of birth – 29.11.1950) graduated from the Department of General Medicine of Kabardino-Balkarian State University in 1973 and finished his internship at the same university in 1974.
During 1974-1978 he served in the Armed forces of the USSR as the head of Medical Corps of a military unit.

He had engaged in postgraduate studies at the First Hospital Therapy Department in Moscow Institute of Medicine and Dentistry from 1978 until 1980, when he defended his candidate’s thesis on cardiology and was accepted as a teaching fellow to the same department. Vasyuk Y.A. was the associate professor from 1992 till 1996 at the same department and defended the doctoral thesis on cardiology there (1996).

He became the professor of the First Hospital Therapy Department in Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1997 and head of the functional diagnostics course in 2000.

Vasyuk Y.A. has held the position of the head of the chair of clinical functional diagnostics in  Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry since 2004.
He also conducted the duties of the pro-rector for educational and clinical work at Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry from 2007 till 2012. Vasyuk Y.A. is the author of more than 200 published works in central Russian and foreign press, 3 monographs, 1 textbook, 18 study guides with the Academic Association visa.
Under the scientific guidance of Vasyuk Y.A. there were defended 3 doctoral and 19 candidate’s dissertations.
He was awarded with the title of the Leninist Komsomol laureate in the domain of science and technics in 1988 and the title of the “Honoured doctor of Russian Federation” in 2007.

Koltunov Igor Efimovich (born in 1968) is professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, cardiologist.
Medical and scientific work of Koltunov I.E., is mostly connected with the National Research Centre for preventive medicine of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, where he had worked since 1994 till 2011. Initially he had started as a cardiologist, then, he became treatment process optimization group chief and afterwards the principal of organizational and methodological department.

Koltunov I.E. conducted the duties of the deputy director of Federal State Institution National Research Centre for Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation in medical work and general issues from 1997 until 2007 and the deputy director in scientific and medical work and general issues from 2007 until 2011. Koltunov I.E. held the post of the executive director of the Society of Cardiology of the Russian Federation from 2000 until 2011.

He has been working as the professor at the department of public health, health protection and general hygiene in Yaroslav the Wise Novgorod State University (Velikiy Novgorod) since 2006.

Professor Koltunov I.E. has been working as the principal of one of the largest children’s hospital of Moscow city (Morozov Children’s City Clinical Hospital of Moscow City Health Department) since 2011. He is the owner of national awards.
