On 11 June 2015 the Scientific Conference with international participation "PREVENTION 2015" took place in Moscow in the frame of the National Year of fight against cardiovascular diseases .
The Conference has been organized and performed by the Moscow Healthcare Department and the Russian National Medical Society of Preventive Cardiology.
The event took place in the Pavilion № 75 of the Exhibition Center of Economic Achievements, Moscow, Russia (VDNKh). The Conference was opened by the Head of the Moscow Healthcare Department Pogonin A. In event participated the Deputy Head of the Department of medical care management and sanatorium-and-spa affairs of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Vergazova E.K., the Chairman of the Commission of Health of the Public Chamber within the Moscow State Duma and the Council of the Chief medical officers within the Moscow Healthcare Department Nazarova I.A., the Chief specialist in preventive medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Boytsov S.A., the Chief specialist in preventive medicine of the Moscow Healthcare Department Pogosova N.V., the President of the National Society of Preventive Cardiology and the Chief cardiologist in the Central Federal District Pozdnyakov Y. M.. The heads in their welcome speeches noticed a special importance of this annual Conference in 2015 organized by the Moscow Healthcare Department and the Russian National Society of Preventive Cardiology as part of announced by the President Putin V.V. the National Year of Fight Against Cardiovascular Diseases. Speakers draw the attention of the public to saturated program of the Conference, the importance of the speeches of world-known experts and leading domestic specialists in the area of early diagnostics, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases, sports cardiology, as well as the use of mobile and telemedicine technologies for patients with cardiac profile.
The president-elect of the World Heart Federation, Professor at Imperial College of London David Wood, Professor of cardiology at the University of Bern Hugo Saner, Switzerland, the Head of Department for preventive cardiology at worldwide famous Mayo Clinic, USA, Professor Francisco Lopez-Jimenez.
The reports of the Chief specialist in preventive medicine of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, Director of the National Research Center for Preventive Medicine, Professor Boytsov S.A., the Chief specialist in preventive medicine of the Moscow Health Department Professor Pogosova N.V., a Honorary President of the Russian Society of Cardiology, the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Oganov R.G., the Chief cardiologist of the Moscow Healthcare Department, Professor E.J. Vasilieva, the Chief dietitian in the Central Federal District and of the Department of Health of the Moscow City, Professor Sharafetdinova A.S. and other well-known persons in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases, as well as sports medicine, attracted a huge interest among the conference participants.
The Conference Organizing Committee received plenty of abstracts, 139 of those after reviewing were accepted and published in supplement of the often quoted Magazine "Kardiovaskulyarnaja Terapija I Profilaktika" (14 June, 2015). The Commission (Chairman Prof. Mamedov M.N.) singled out the most interesting abstracts from a scientific and practical point and chose them for further presentation as poster reports. Within the framework of the Contest of the best poster report the authors presented more detailed their works and answered on the colleagues’ questions.
The President of the National Society of Preventive Cardiology Professor Pozdnyakov Y. M., and the Vice-president of the Society, Professor Poghosova N. V., summarized the Scientific Conference "PREVENTION 2015". They noted that the Conference gave to its participants an opportunity to hear the opinion of leading experts in medicine, to take part in discussions with colleagues, to exchange their experience in the area of the latest achievements in treatment the patients with cardiovascular diseases.
