The IIIrd All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference of Young Scientists on Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases successfully completed its work. The Conference has been organized in Barnaul by the National Medical Society of Preventive Cardiology, the Altai State Medical University (ASMU) and Students Society of the ASMU on March 20, 2014.
The honor of opening of the Conference was given to the professor YuryLobanov, vice-rector for research and innovations of the University and professor Irina Osipova, head of a chair of the University, chairman of the Primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseasesseectionof the National Medical Society of Preventive Cardiology, chief specialist on medical prevention of the Altai territory.The best abstracts were awarded with diplomas (one – first degree, two – second degree and three – third degree). These abstracts will be published soon in one of the best Russian medical journals - “Cardiovascular therapy and prevention".The winner of the Young scientists contest will receive an award from the Russian Medical Society of Preventive Cardiology – a grant for participation at the EUROPREVENT 2015!
